Alex Tibbits grew up in Olympia, WA. He played many sports including baseball, soccer, and tennis. At the age of 13 he decided to pursue tennis at a competitive level. After being an All-American tennis player for LC State, he became a tennis pro and played professional tennis. In the early '90s, he was the head tennis pro, gave lessons and ran a successful junior program at North Park Racquet Club in Spokane. His career in tennis came to an end when he injured his shoulder and back.

Alex turned to golf after he recovered from his tennis injuries. When Alex and his wife Rachel opened the Swing Lounge, Alex decided to return to teaching. Alex gives lessons for all levels. He trains a number of high school students as well as competitive golfers around the region.

Alex says, 'Giving lessons is the best part of my day.' Book a lesson with Alex in the evenings Monday through Friday or anytime on the weekend during business hours.
